We are open!

Current Guidance – January 2022

We are delighted to be able to keep supporting our community during these uncertain times.

We are passionate about enabling local people, whatever their circumstances, to access the care they need for a healthy and fulfilling life. Hove Community Acupuncture provides a high quality and professional acupuncture service that is affordable and accessible to everyone in the community.

We take Covid safety very seriously and will continue to provide a safe treatment space for you. If you have any concerns please do get in touch. To make sure we provide a COVID secure environment for all our patients and practitioners there will be a few changes in clinic.

Reduced capacity

We will be limiting the number of available couches per session, to comply with government guidance on social distancing. Initially there will be only one practitioner per session to minimise the number of people in the space, and although specific practitioners will be working certain days we cannot guarantee you will see that person.

Treatment times are staggered to ensure minimal crossover between people in the space to allow for extra cleaning between patients.

Pre-booked appointments

To help manage the flow of people coming into the clinic we will be using the new Tree of Life booking system, which means there will be no drop-in appointments at the moment.

Book your treatment HERE.

You will now also have to pay for your treatment at the time of booking. You will find a range of payment levels to reflect our sliding scale which is now £20 – £35.

Sadly we are no longer able to offer treatments at £15 because of the our reduced capacity and the increased cost of PPE.

48 hours before your appointment you will be sent a COVID screening questionnaire. Please complete and return this form before coming for treatment.

Arriving for your appointment

There will be no waiting area, so please arrive promptly at your agreed time. Please do not come to the clinic without an appointment.

You will need to enter and leave through the studio door. Please do not wait in the clinic reception area.

Whenever possible please go to the toilet BEFORE arriving at the clinic. We need to keep use of the clinic facilities to an absolute minimum.

Please try to minimise the amount of bags and personal items you arrive with.

Please wear a mask or face covering. Your practitioner will also be wearing one. One will be provided if you don’t have one with you.

Please clean your hands with the hand gel provided on arrival.
